New Zealand, made up of two major and many small islands in the southwest Pacific Ocean, is ideal destination for nature and adrenaline sports lovers.

The country, which does not have a very long history, will enchant you with its scenery and amazing culture preserved by the original inhabitants of Maori. New Zealanders are also known as "Kiwis", not according to the well-known fruit, but the lesser-known Kiwi bird, very rare to spot.

New Zealand is also known for its isolation from other countries. Australia is nearly 2,000 km away while New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga are country's closest neighbors. Some of the most popular cities for studying, working and having fun are Auckland (North Island) and Queenstown (South Island), but the capital city of Wellington, or historic Christchurch are also worth mentioning.

Good news are that there are almost no poisonous animals on New Zealand's islands and no snakes at all! So if these animals are making you feel uncomfortable, you should buy the flight ticket to this country. :)
