New Zealand is becoming more popular in recent years, mainly because of the high quality of schools and friendly visa policy. Student visas allow you to work 20 hours per week if you are studying an English course that is longer than 14 weeks at Category 1 school, meaning the high quality school.

If you study a vocational course, you have the right to work 20 hours a week in case your course is at lest 2 years long or you are studying a course that gives you points towards permanent residence as a "skilled migrant" (Level 5 or Level 4 for selected jobs). During the school holidays students can work full time if the course is longer than 1 academic year and contains at least 120 credits. With less credits, you can only work full time during Christmas holidays.

Of course, when you sign up for a particular school, we will clarify everything in detail for you.
