Queenstown

Queenstown, as a city located on the South Island of New Zealand, is well known as the capital of adrenaline. You'll find the oldest bungee jump in the world here(yes, this is where it all started) as well as the most famous one (just for the bravest souls), Nevis.

WIth its location by the lake and by mountains, tourists can enjoy any season in Queenstown. In summer, it offers plenty of opportunities for hiking in the surrounding mountains, excursions to the nearby clear lakes or the famous Milford Sound. Winter is here ideal for skiing or snowboarding but it is also great for exploring the glaciers.

Queenstown is especially popular amongst young people, because in addition to sports, they can also enjoy themselves in local bars and clubs. This small town really lives and offers everything from small cafes, through famous restaurants and luxurious wine bars to classic pubs.
