Vocational Education Training (VET) courses can be found in various length and specialization. Unlike language courses, a certain level of English, usually a higher intermediate or advanced level, is required.
- A variety of courses such as businness, marketing, project management, fitness, massage, dance, childcare and much more.
- Course length depends on specific course and type of qualification (Certificate II., Diploma, Advanced Diploma ...)
- The classes are usually held 2-3 days a week and in most cases there is a choice of morning, afternoon and evening courses.
- Courses are focused on the practice more than theory and therefore they are very popular among international students.
- The possibility of combining with the language course or the University
- The great advantage is that when you sign up for a longer course, you only have to pay the first installment and the rest is paid gradually. However, visas will be granted for the full duration of the study.
- The study is divided into terms where each term lasts for 3 months, followed mostly bya break of 2-3 weeks which students can spend travelling or working full time
- Start dates are available 6-8 times a year, always at the beginning of the new term.
- Most schools require 80% attendance
- After completing the course, students qualify for Certificate or Diploma.
